The fruit is medum-small, sweet & juicy with green skin, & green flesh and tender and with a rich full-bodied flavor, & smooth texture. Tree is small, is self-fertile and is very productive. It originated in Persia, 1699. Considered the ideal dessert plum in Europe. USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-8. Also called Reine Claude Verte & Reine Claude Doree.
