When do we ship?

Our shipping depends a lot on the weather. We ship plants once all of the following conditions are met for all of the plants in your order:

  • Temperature conditions are ideal – Some plants won’t survive being shipped when it’s too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter, so depending on your location, we might have to wait until a suitable window.
  • The soil is dry enough to dig up the plant (for bareroot plants) – It rains a lot in our area during the winter and with our clay soil we have to wait about a week after a heavy rain storm to dig up the plants, so we of
  • Your order is complete and shipping is fully paid for
  • We send out orders on Monday & Tuesday – to avoid being delayed in transit over the weekend.

Shipping methods

To make sure your plants get to you inIf good condition, we plan for them to be in transit for no longer than 3-4 days. Most local west-coast orders will be shipped UPS or FedEx ground and get there within a couple days. Anything east of the Rockies we ship either USPS Priority or FedEx 3-Day Air.

For some Oregon zip codes, we might drop off your plants in person.

Local pickup (with appointment)

If you’re local to Lane County, Oregon or driving though, you’re welcome to make an appointment with us to pickup your plants. We’re a small operation and not always around, so making an appointment is required. You can do so at 541-632-5532 , by email at info@rainbowgrove.com , or by simply requesting local pickup in the “Order notes” section when you check out and we will do our best to contact you. Once you pick up your order, we will refund you the shipping cost.

Local delivery

If you’re local to Lane County, Oregon, it might be cheaper for you to request local delivery by simply requesting local delivery in the “Order notes” when you check out and we will do our best to contact you. Local delivery rates are below. After we deliver you order, we will refund any difference. If you make a local delivery request and it’s cheaper for us to just mail your order, your request will be denied and we’ll just ship it to you instead. Tracking

An email with the tracking information will be sent once your order has shipped. If you don’t receive one, feel free to contact us at 541-632-5532 or email at info@rainbowgrove.com.

Cancelling your order

If we haven’t shipped your order yet, you’re welcome to contact us at 541-632-5532 or email at info@rainbowgrove.com immediately to cancel your order for a full refund. If we’ve already shipped your plants, then they’re out of our hands and we will not be able to issue you a refund.

Problems with your order

Plants become the property of the customer upon delivery. Please check your order as soon as you receive it to make sure all items are included and accounted for. Notify us immediately if the plants experienced significant damaged in transit. Send photos to info@rainbowgrove.com within 14 days and we will follow up accordingly. Replacements can be sent for damaged plants if they are available, otherwise store credit will be issued for the price of the plant.

In the event that your items are incorrect, missing, or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt by phone at 541-632-5532 or email at info@rainbowgrove.com.

All claims will be denied after 14 days of receipt.
