Very dependable in the PNW. Makes a fine pinkish applesauce. This late Sep-Oct season, fresh eating Apple is also good for dessert, cider, applesauce & cooking. The fruit is sweet-sharp, juicy & crisp with deep dark red skin. Tree is self-fertile, is moderately vigorous and is resistant to scab (immune). It is popular with organic growers. Storage: to Feb and improves after storage. It originated in NY 1978.
