Sister tree to Liberty. This mid season, fresh eating Apple is also good for cider & cooking. The fruit is red, crisp, juicy, sprightly & of good quality with medium-coarse flesh subacid, bright flavor. Tree is spreading, is highly vigorous and is a pollenizer for Liberty. It is resistant to scab, fire blight (moderate) & mildew (moderate). Storage: to Jan. It originated in Cornell University, 1983.
