A backyard favorite. This early season Sweet Cherry ripens 2 weeks before Bing. The fruit is medium-large, Bing-like, dark red, semi-freestone, very sweet & delicious. Tree is reliably, is moderately vigorous and is resistant to bacterial canker & cracking. It originated in Morocco, 1936 and introduced by the USDA, 1961. USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-9.
