Description
Tree is upright, spreading, productive,and difficult to shape during formative years but well shaped and stately in maturity. Bears singly, and not in clusters, looking as if thinned on the tree, therefore always of fine size. Ripens gradually. This heirloom Pear ripens late Sept to late Oct and is also good for dessert. The fruit has russeted skin. Tree is vigorous, is resistant to scab, is a regular producer and is susceptible to Fire Blight. It’s from France.
