Also called Airlie, this Red-fleshed Apple ripens early Oct. The fruit is delicious, juicy & hard with deep rose red flesh and a rich, sweet-tart flavor. It has yellow skin amongst pale whitish dots. Tree is moderately vigorous. Good keeper. It was found on a farm’s hedgerow in Airlie, Oregon, 1960s. And trademarked as Hidden Rose®. This variety is trademarked (78082135) at least until 2032-12-20.
