Tree is yes, has Pineapple genetics and is resistant to Fire Blight. It originated in Spalding County, California, 1982 (originally selected in 1957). This European pear is partially self fertile and fireblight resistant. Also considered low-chill, needing only 150 hours to reliably bloom and set fruit.
