This mid season Apple ripens late Sept. The fruit is large, elongated & red with a pleasing combination of sweet and tart flavors and lightly bubble gum flavored. Tree requires 800 chill hours and is does great in maritime climates. It is resistant to scab, mildew, fireblight, cedar apple rust & red mite. It is a cross between Golden Delicious and (unreleased) Remo (James Greive x resistant clone). USDA Hardiness Zones: 4-9. Trademarked as Bella™. This variety’s patent (USPP15134P2) expired on 2023-02-21.
