Description
The fruit of this early season, astringent American Persimmon is deep orange with a sweet, delicious, strong flavor. Tree is self-fertile (parthenocarpy and occasionally male flowers). Also a fine ornamental with large, dark green foliage that turns a beautiful red and yellow in the fall. USDA Hardiness Zones: 4a(3b).
