Description
A French culinary favorite and of the Bullock brothers on Orcas Island, Washington. Also called Belgium Purple, this mid season, culinary European Plum is also good for nearly freestone. The fruit is medium sized, roundish, firm & sweet with purple skin and golden flesh. Tree is heavily, is not self-fertile, is blooms between Bavay Gage, Coe’s Golden Drop and and Victoria plums. It originated in Belgium, 1850. Also called Bleu de Belgique.
